In 2013, after years of hosting the noisy, garage rock show Crude Radio, Corey and Nate were looking for a new challenge. Their moment of inspiration struck when they first heard William Onyeabor’s Atomic Bomb—a song that ignited their passion for the lesser-known realms of global funk, soul, and disco. With a clear direction, they dove headfirst into unearthing rare grooves from around the world. They reached out to friends to help shape the show’s format, and from that point on, International Feel was born.
As the years progressed, the team began to push their production styling, the team embraced a part of the show that came so natural to them, the laughs they'd have doing the live show. Now improve comedy fills the gaps between the fuzzed out, spacey, wild music and keeps the team coming back for more. Now joined by their long time friend Kevin (Maze), the team feels like they've truly hit their stride.
One of the original hosts, Corey has been doing weekly radio since 2007 when Nate and him set out on their 90's indie rock show, Goldsoundz.
